I think i like ziggy or aladdin more than the thin white duke. the songs are great and the performance is fun but i'd rather seeing ziggy screaming for five years or gimme your hand. and maybe "heroes" should be a studio track. this live aid version always regard as the best "heroes" live and i think the emotion and sound wall which make the song a masterpiece was missing. I'm sorry.

For the Who, what the dvd included was pissing me. where is the first minutes of my generation? where's pinball wizard? i don't suppose watching the who started with love reign oer me. jack nicholson's introduction was cool, "Greatness was often overused in rock'n'roll. But here's a true legendary band, pete townshend, roger..." alright, the missing bit was, kenny jones instead of keith moon. i don't even think kenney jones is any better than zak starkey. he is too robotic.

But the camera man really pissd me. At the not the best but not bad performance of won't get fooled again, the camera kept forcus on the other 3 members and, even the add-in keyboard(don't know if he is "rabbit"), instead of john entwistle! fuck me! he was standing, he didn't jump, he didn't even shake, but it didn't mean he was not rocking! with hearing the fucking great bassline and seeing the thunder fingers dancing like hell in wide shot, there's no close shot to the ox or his bass until the second half of the second half!!! miss of the event for sure!

but honestly, without keith moon the performance was not the best. but the ending was one of the greatest. that's the who, super technique with explosive action, the trademark jumping and mic wielding with the thundering heavy beat. i take the words of jack nicholson, truly legendary.
