1969的作品，內容說的是平等。Sly & the family stone本身就是一支擁有不同性別及膚色的樂隊。當中Bass手Larry Graham的名聲可以說是如雷貫耳吧？他是Slapping這一種演奏技巧的分明著(也可能是Poping的分明者)？據說這一首Everyday People是他第一次把Slapping用在演奏上的作品。

從此，Slapping成了Bass手必需要學會的一種技巧，不然你怎樣去學Flea?

等等，你沒學習過結他(甚至不知片中那一個人是Larry Graham？連那一支是Bass都不知道？)，不知啥是Slapping？

那些獨白是誰的主意？露骨肉麻當有趣，請推出去斬。

謝安琪的歌我實在聽得不多，尤其是她真的當紅起來以前那一些。不過先有囍帖街，及後就有這一首年度之歌，也是我很喜歡的主流大路作品。

或許這就是黃偉文喜歡的手法，一些頗為淺白的暗喻。相比起囍帖街，年度之歌來得更淺白，副歌中歌詞配旋律的威力也端得是直接得不輸氣勢。不過全曲填起來倒有一點不太穩定，個別位置頗失美感，畢竟我們天天都在說廣府話，這一點瑕疵也就難以詐看不見了。

「誰又妄想一曲一世，讓人忠心到底。」

忠心一直都受人歌頌，然而實戰起上來，我們並非要對方是一個忠心的人，要的是對方對自己忠心而已。不是嗎？對方真的忠心的話，他/她跟本不可能放下上一個/再上一個/再再上一個……

如果所有人都一曲一世，這世界喜劇大何減半，其餘全在演悲劇了。

無論在任何關係上，忠心亦只不過是引發悲劇的工具而已。

Transformer 2 - dig on Michael Bay

So we are all waiting for Transformer 2... no, I don't. and so as
Short Shing. The reason is simple - the first one is a weak one. You
can simply see why Michael Bay, the director, has been critizinf for
providing shallow script which is full of bug holes.

I'm not trying to be a pretentious-movie-geek-think-he-has-taste-who-
loves-art-movies-and-gives-shits-to-blockbusters. Instead, I have to
tell you I'm always a commercial-tasted-shit-knowing bloke. With an
Iggy Pop recalling face(as least I think so), MB doesn't give you any
punk rock. He is stadium rock, hair metal with a taste of glam... so
he is big budget guy... so I've watched his movies quite a bit.

Me on MB, bad boys is good, the rock is great, armmagedon is sweet.
The point is, MB can also shit you Pearl Habour. When it comes to
commercial action movies, you can still make it lovable...you guys all
love Titanic deep from your little heart, dun you? it's really a good
action movie, exciting, fighting, people saved, people died people
killed... thought it sucks as a love story, shallow and empty.

So it's not about commercial vs art. just the first transfomer is
weak. when an action movie is good enough, you can be long live as
Terminator 2, Alien 2 or Saving Private Ryan. You dun give awkward
twist, you dun lose rhythm, you dun out of focus, you dun bring the
audience running around without giving any clues.

But, I still think I'll go and get it....I love visual effect so
much....

星期六晚

那個年頭又自認喜愛英倫音樂的人，沒有多少個能斬釘截鐵地說自己對Suede沒有半點情結。

喜歡Suede的人，無論你如何高唱Suede或Dog man star才是最佳，卻沒有多少個能說自己對Saturday Night沒有一點感覺吧。

Intro、Verse fill，樂隊選擇Richard Oakes，不見得只是為了他的年青美貌吧？縱使是一首vocal centric的作品，背後樂器們一樣為那淡淡的空虛感抹上一層優美的冷感，演奏不技術，卻是運用音樂語言的技術。

Oh Whatever makes her happy? On a Saturday...

We'll go where people go and let go...

星期六，她很高興。

為何高興？因為這是星期六晚。
