Bob Dylan唔單止成日俾傳媒標籤做「搖滾詩人」，最有趣係佢原來係九十年代已經被認可成為諾貝爾文學將既候選人(聽聞自1996年以後，有一位文學教授每 一年都會提名Bob Dylan，而每一年文學獎都會由被提名出黎約二百個候選人入面選5個出黎，再從5個入面選出得獎，但決選既5人名單50年之內都唔會被公開)。
