No doubt. One of the best songs in the 90s. Isn't it? No matter how much you hate about Oasis, you know this song is great. It's something you feel like it will conquer the world. Not only about your personal taste, not about if this is some amazingly difficult music. Simple, straight forward, but people loves it.

Most of the time, a great song is different to a great music. We all know this. Song is only one of the form of music. When we talked about song, usually we focus on the lyrics and the main melody. Not when you say a song is great means only the lyrics and melody is great. That's what people pay attention to, and that's what a song is about. You can have some subtle bassline or technical guitar playing. But if it's has no good main melody nor lyrics people can relate themselves to, usually we don't say it's a good song.
